How Lisbon Boat Club uses the personal data you send us.

Who we are

Lisbon Boat Club (lisbonboatclub.com) is operated by Miguel Sapina Unipessoal, Lda., NIPC 519097394, Rua da Milharada 15, Massamá, Portugal, which is responsible for your personal data. Contact: info@lisboncharters.com.

What data we collect

When you request a quote we collect the details you enter in the form: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, date, number of guests, duration, preferred boat, occasion and your message. If you contact us on WhatsApp, we receive your number and the messages you send.

Why we use it

We use your data only to answer your request, check availability and prepare and send you a quote, and – if you book – to organise your trip. The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before a contract and, once you book, the performance of that contract.

Who we share it with

To check availability and organise your trip, we may share the necessary details (date, group size, boat and contact name) with the licensed maritime-tourism operator of the boat you choose. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Requests that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 24 months. Booking data is kept for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax purposes.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored on our website server and in our email. Our providers process the data on our behalf and under our instructions.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format, by writing to info@lisboncharters.com. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).

Cookies

This website uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work, including a cookie (lbc_consent) that remembers your cookie choice for six months.

With your consent, we also use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed. These analytics cookies (such as _ga) are only set if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you reject them, Google Analytics runs in a restricted mode that does not set cookies. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.

You can change your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
